Storm Damage Remediation

Even brief exposure to saltwater flooding during a hurricane or tidal storm surge can cause significant damage to an incinerator.  Electrical systems are destroyed, refractory is damaged and machinery is corroded beyond repair.  CBE has experience with assisting one of our clients, Bayshore Regional Sewerage Authority, in securing $20 million of FEMA funding due to damage from Superstorm Sandy in 2013.  The project included facility upgrades to mitigate against future flooding issues, in addition to rebuilding the facility with up-to-date incineration equipment. We were able to incorporate recommendations from FEMA to protect against future high water events.  Let our experience with storm damage remediation help you get back to 100% operation, in addition to using our engineering knowledge when preparing claims for insurance coverage and emergency funding.
